Emma Doenges is a singer, song writer and guitarist from South London. Emma came to Newcastle University to study Folk and Traditional Music and studied a year in University of South - Eastern Norway, a rural area which lies in Rauland. On return from the trees and mountains to the busy city, the different environments helped Emma reflect on her storytelling, song writing and music. Emma also enjoys creating arrangements from field recordings and singing traditional Norwegian ballads. Emma will be bringing some of her experiences and performing them through music at Saltburn Folk  Festival.
