Naomi Kelly

Described by NARC magazine as a style that “wouldn’t go amiss in a playlist with names like Grace Petrie and Lucy Spraggan”, Naomi Kelly’s style is a unique blend of indie, folk, and pop music- combining to create their distinctly homegrown sound. They’re a singer-songwriter from Leeds, with a solidly DIY attitude to their music. Her first song written aged 11, Naomi took to teaching herself guitar during the Coronavirus lockdown, and has hardly been away from one since.

With lyrics that come out of nowhere, and songs on everything from heartbreak to horror movies, Naomi’s “classic, clever songwriting” has taken them from open mics in her hometown to supporting artists such as Edwina Hayes and Katie Spencer, and playing on one of Greenbelt Festival’s primary music stages (during a sitewide power cut!).

Naomi’s debut EP “Cottagecore” was self-produced at home, and released in September 2023 to a sold-out Hyde Park Book Club. Currently studying music at Newcastle University, Naomi can always be found cooking up new song ideas, especially when planning their future music releases…
