Jessie Howard is a local singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist releasing music under the alias Haar. She records using an 8-track digital recorder, layering up instruments with ethereal harmonies to create drifting song/soundscapes with dreamlike imagery.

 

Anna Hughes is a fiddle player/singer collaborating in various outfits around the North-East and writing music for interdisciplinary projects.

 

They have come together out of appreciation for each other’s music, combining fiddle, harmonium, electric guitar and vocal harmonies to share slow-burning, heartfelt songs with simple lyricism and lofty melodies.
